I am Alexander Ahlsen. I started selling handmade and custom-made jewellery online in 2015.
I spent a lot of time setting up the ecommerce website, payment, accounting, CRM and all the other tools you need to manage an online business today. I spent at least half of my time researching tools, setting them up and following up on all the different tools used by the company. And that's not including the time it took to switch between them and also exporting and importing the data used in customer lists.
So one day I thought to myself, "There must be a better way to do this! Here I am spending more time with my tools then designing jewellery and selling".
One weekend, I started researching and what I discovered is that platforms for managing businesses usually are very expensive and made only for big companies making millions.
I decided to see if I could build a suitable solution for smaller companies like myself.
I started programming at the age of 11 and have always been interested in optimizing and automating boring processes, and understanding the logic behind businesses and what makes them successful.
I've used certain tools to build solutions for clients and for myself in the past and I discovered a really flexible framework meant for business development.
This is how I got started on building the Redux platform where all the tools speak to each other and the data flows throughout the system without any interference by the user.
Now I can breathe… breathe life into businesses.
(adj.) "restored, brought back," Latin, from reducere.
When we speak with Redux users, we typically hear the following reasons why they chose Redux:
- Ease of use
- No tech skills required
- Cost effectiveness
- Quick to set up
